Job summary

Pest Hunters - Mosquito Hunters - Humbug Holiday Lighting is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to serve Avon-area clients. You will travel to homes and businesses, survey properties, and apply treatments for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other pests while ensuring safety and professionalism.

The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and includes training, advancement potential, and a company car. A Commercial Applicator license is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Commercial Applicator license required or willing to become licensed.
• Some prior pest control experience.
• Must be 18+ and have a valid drivers license
• Able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
• Enjoy working outdoors and travel to client sites
• Be energetic, hardworking and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client homes or businesses to survey and treat for pests.
• Survey properties and apply treatments for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and perimeter pests.
• Participate in marketing initiatives.
• Travel and work outdoors, maintaining safety and licensing standards.

• Trained expert who provides a remarkable client experience
• Travel to each client's home or business
• Survey each home or business and/or surrounding property
• Treat standing water with larvicide
• Treat the yard, home or business, and/or surrounding landscaping for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, perimeter pests, rodents, and other pests
• Participate in marketing initiatives
• Must have Commercial Applicator license and passed the Sections 10A, 10D, and 7 category exams or be willing to become licensed
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Pest Control Technician Requirements

• Some prior experience in pest control required
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
