Job summary

Fenix Pest Control, Inc. is expanding and seeking a personable Pest Control Technician to work directly with residential and commercial customers. You will explain services, answer questions, and prepare customers for our visit.

You’ll use extension poles to remove webs, service inside and outside, and ensure access points are secure. Training and licensing support are provided; no license is required to start, though a license is available for development.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Attention to detail essential.
• Pest Control license not required; can help you obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with customers to explain services and prepare them for our visit.

• Service the inside and outside of homes, focusing on access points.
• No crawl spaces/unfinished attics/roofs or animal trapping involved.
• Products are safe and do not require respirators or masks; no sales involved.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Work one-on-one with customers to build rapport by being the face of Fenix. Explain to the customer their services, answer questions, prepare them for after our visit.
• Use extension poles to remove spider webs and insect nests.
• Service the inside and outside of the home, paying close attention to access points.
• Not as "Dirty" of a job as one might think. We do not go into crawl spaces, unfinished attics, or onto roofs; we do not trap any animals.
• Our products are safe and do not require any use of respirators or masks.
• This position does not require any sales.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Valid Drivers license.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• PEST CONTROL LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED. We can help guide you in obtaining needed license.
  
• Job requires a background check, drug screening, and driving record check.

HOURS

• 50+ hours a week during the first summer - through September
• Monday through Friday 7am start; end time depends on the day
• Every other Saturday or Saturdays when needed -7am to 4 pm
• Hours get less as the year goes on, but base pay does not!
