Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Pro to deliver pest protection on a designated service route. You’ll complete award-winning training, learn safety practices, and work with customers in homes and businesses to provide peace of mind.

No prior pest control experience is required; Orkin backs you with extensive paid training, a company vehicle with gas card, competitive pay and a full benefits package including health, retirement, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; training provided.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work independently on the road and interact with customers in businesses/homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory; ensure timely and safe arrivals.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as a problem solver by listening to customer needs and recommending effective solutions.
• Meet with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services for peace of mind.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of customer properties.
• Complete all service-related documentation in a handheld device.
