Job summary

Florida Pest Control, a Rentokil company, is seeking a field technician to perform pest control inspections, install TAP insulation, and support related services for residential and commercial clients across Florida.

You will interact with customers, assist in light construction work, and follow safety protocols while advancing professionally within the Rentokil family. Full-time roles include comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients.
• Install TAP insulation and ensure quality service.
• Assist with light construction projects and repairs related to pest damage.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain services and provide guidance on pest control measures.
• Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal with safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training to enhance skills.
