Job summary

Rentokil North America’s Terminix Way route technician delivers timely, safe and effective pest, termite, bed bug, and mosquito control services on assigned routes. As a trainer, you will conduct classroom/field training for apprentice technicians while maintaining a clean vehicle and equipment, managing supplies, and coordinating with branch leadership to prioritize scheduling and follow-up.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year with Terminix, strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of service with Terminix.
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate.
• Ability to present information in internal and external settings.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, safe and effective pest, termite, bed bug, and mosquito control service for each established and new customers on assigned route.
• Complete quarterly/annual Healthy Home inspections to ensure continued service efficacy and identify/document any concerning condition.
• Advise customers of service work completed, summarize concerning conditions, relate recommended solutions/benefits, gain commitment, and collaborate with other team members on needed follow-up.
• Maintain safe and clean vehicle/equipment, and ensure sufficient quantities of product to meet route service needs.
• Maintain proactive route schedule management, partnering with management and branch support center as needed for scheduling interventions.
• Conduct classroom/field training to enable growth/development of apprentice technicians and support branch/market priorities.
