Job summary

The Shield Co. Management, LLC is seeking an Additional Services Technician in Portage, Indiana.

You will perform termite and pest control services, insulation work, and exclusion tasks while delivering exceptional customer care and accurate documentation. Responsibilities include following service routes, explaining treatment plans, maintaining equipment safely, and coordinating with office staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience required and demonstrated mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction-related tasks, including operating ladders and power tools safely and effectively.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.
• Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

• Maintain accurate and organized customer, service, and appointment records using company technology and systems.
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and personal protective gear to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Promote customer satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality service and adhering to company standards and procedures.

This role combines hands-on service delivery with exceptional customer care, ensuring high-quality results, accurate documentation, and safe, efficient operations.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package. This position offers an hourly base pay range of $18.80 - $21.00, plus additional compensation opportunities. Please note that actual earnings beyond base pay will vary based on sales.
