Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking an Ads Assessor to review online advertisements for relevance to search terms and to provide language and cultural feedback. The role contributes to improved content quality and layout and helps make internet search and ads more relevant to users.

It is offered on an independent contractor basis, with freedom to choose working hours. Ideal candidates will have excellent English communication, be US residents, and have reliable broadband, a smartphone, and a PC.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with full professional proficiency in English.
• US resident for the last 3 consecutive years with familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in Country.
• Daily access to a broadband internet connection, a smartphone, and a personal computer with antivirus software to work on. You’ll also need a Barcode Scanner application to be installed on your smartphone to complete certain tasks.
• This is an explicit human evaluation role requiring authentic human judgment, perspective, and evaluation.

A Day in the Life of an Ads Assessor- US

In this role, you will be reviewing online advertisements by rating them on their relevance to the search terms used, as well as providing feedback on their language and cultural relevance in order to improve their content, quality, and layout

Your ultimate goal will be to contribute towards making internet search and online advertising more relevant and interesting for millions of users.

Service Rates

Compensation is based on tasks completed and project availability. Estimated earnings may vary depending on task volume and program requirements including quality and productivity, in accordance with the program's quality standards and guidelines.

Please note that only one member per household may participate in this program. If it is identified that more than one person from the same household is participating in the Ads Quality Rating Program, all associated accounts will be removed from the program.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis. Contributors have the flexibility to choose when and how much they work, subject to project availability and quality requirements. This opportunity is not and should not be construed as creating an employment relationship with TELUS Digital.

Basic Requirements

Assessment

You must complete an English language assessment, pass an open book qualification exam, and complete an ID verification in order to be successful for this role. These assessments will determine your suitability for the position.
