Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is seeking a Personal Travel Professional to be the first point of contact for guests across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. You will build strong guest relationships by managing a database of interested travelers and explaining rates and promotions for yacht, suites, hotel, land, shore excursions, and air programs.

Superior customer service skills are required to answer questions and guide bookings through the full reservation process, including

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year college degree or 3 years’ experience equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Customer Service and Sales experience, ideally from a luxury cruise background.
• Must commit to delivering a high level of customer service.
• Possess excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to learn policies & procedures to make reservations and assist callers with each booking step.
• Desire to learn all product aspects, including land, air, hotel & shore excursions to effectively sell & service each reservation.
• Ability to follow our exclusive RCYC Sales Process and use the reservation system.

Responsibilities

• Promotes sales to direct consumers by initiating calls, acting on leads, and/or prospects to identify travel needs and present recommendations.
• Establishes and maintains quality guest relationships by delivering exceptional service and following up to close sales and meet revenue goals.
• Service guests through the reservation process, promoting air, hotel, transfers, and Travel Protection.
• Manage consumer prospect lists to identify client travel trends and promote RCYC products based on guest history.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge to articulate cruise features, benefits, pricing, and itineraries, and suggest promotions and upgrades.
• Maintain courteous and professional telephone etiquette at all times.
• Provide overflow support for inbound calls/chats when required.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Job Summary

The Personal Travel Professional is the first point of contact with the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and introduces the unique opportunity of our yacht vacations to potential guests throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. In this role, you will build a strong guest relationship by managing a database of guests who have expressed interest in The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Superior customer service skills are required to explain rates and promotions and answer questions regarding the yacht, suites, hotel, land, shore excursion, and air programs, in addition to onboard amenities.

Essential Functions

• Promotes sales to direct consumers by initiating calls, acting on leads, and/or prospects to identify travel needs, present/explain The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection products, and make travel recommendations.
• Establishes and maintains quality guest relationships by delivering exceptional service, establishing rapport, identifying and meeting guest needs and expectations to include meeting guest retention goals, and following up with guests as necessary to close sales and meet/exceed revenue goals.
• Service our guests through every aspect of the reservation process, including promoting air, hotel, transfers, and Travel Protection.
• Manage consumer prospect lists/contact database to identify client travel trends; Proactively and consistently seek opportunities to promote and sell The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection products based on guest travel history.
• Acquires in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate cruise product features, benefits, and pricing, and make recommendations to include promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as suite upgrades and shipboard amenities.
• Maintain courteous & professional telephone etiquette at all times.
• Provide overflow support for Inbound calls/chats (when required).
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Competency

• Minimum 2-year college degree or 3 years’ experience equivalent
