Job summary

The Edge Fitness Clubs LLC is looking for passionate Personal Trainers to design and deliver customized training programs for members. You’ll conduct consultations and assessments, set goals, and maintain client records while delivering top-notch service on the gym floor.

You’ll build a personal training business, promote Edge programs, and strive to achieve monthly revenue and session targets in a dynamic club environment.

Qualifications

• Energetic, motivational, professional with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of fitness, program design, cardiovascular training, nutrition, and safe exercise techniques.
• CPR/AED certified; specialty certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Certified Personal Trainer (1+ certification; NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NSCA within 6 months of hire)
• CPR/AED certified; specialty certifications a plus
• Energetic, motivational, and professional with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of fitness, program design, cardiovascular training, nutrition, and safe exercise techniques
• Competencies: Client Focus, Initiative, Technical/Professional Knowledge, and skills

Key Details

• Work in a dynamic health club environment with members, staff, and vendors
• Perform class-length aerobic activity and lift up to 50-100 lbs while moving safely
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Vision required for close, distant, and depth perception, with ability to adjust focus
• No travel required
• Part-time, non-exempt position with varied hours, including nights and weekends
• No supervisory responsibilities
