Job summary

Gold's Gym in Friendswood is looking for a Personal Trainer in Training to start a rewarding career in the fitness industry with our iconic brand. Our onboarding program and 60+ years of expertise help you grow into a skilled fitness professional and support our members toward their health goals.

You will complete the initial certification, shadow experienced trainers, and engage members while conducting assessments. A national certification must be earned within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must obtain a nationally accredited personal trainer certification within 6 months of hire.
• Complete the onboarding program and follow training protocols.
• Shadow experienced trainers to learn effective training techniques.
• Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs and stand/sit for long periods.

• Must have excellent communication skills and adaptable coaching methods to different exercise experience levels.
• Must be able to quickly determine program changes to keep members engaged regardless of experience or fitness ability.
• Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
