Job summary

The Edge Fitness Clubs LLC in Woodbury, NJ is seeking talented Certified Personal Trainers to design and deliver safe, motivating, results-driven programs tailored to each client’s goals.

You’ll conduct fitness consultations, assessments, and goal-setting sessions, maintain accurate client records, grow a personal training client base, promote Edge programs, and strive to exceed monthly revenue and session targets; hours include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer certification in NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NSCA preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required; specialty certifications a plus.
• Energetic, motivational, professional with excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Certified Personal Trainer (1+ certification; NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NSCA within 6 months of hire)
• CPR/AED certified; specialty certifications a plus
• Energetic, motivational, and professional with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of fitness, program design, cardiovascular training, nutrition, and safe exercise techniques
• Competencies: Client Focus, Initiative, Technical/Professional Knowledge, and skills

Key Details

• Work in a dynamic health club environment with members, staff, and vendors
• Perform class-length aerobic activity and lift up to 50-100 lbs while moving safely
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Vision required for close, distant, and depth perception, with ability to adjust focus
• No travel required
• Part-time, non-exempt position with varied hours, including nights and weekends
• No supervisory responsibilities
