Dynamic Fitness in Sugar Land, Texas is seeking Personal Trainers to support members in achieving their fitness goals. Trainers will foster relationships and provide a positive, educational experience in a motivating environment.

This role requires certifications in CPR/AED, a high school diploma, and a commitment to fostering a healthy lifestyle within the community. Joining Dynamic Fitness means being part of a community dedicated to fitness and health.

Qualifications

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications required.
• National Certification required.
• Personal Training experience preferred.

Position Summary

Personal Trainers are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Dynamic Fitness Brand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certified
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
• National Certification required

Experience

• Personal Training experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of proper exercise techniques and the principles of physical fitness
• Must be able to operate fitness machines and equipment
• Ability to work with computers
• Must have good interpersonal communication skills (orally and written)
• Excellent customer service skills (active listening)
• Independent, self‑motivated, inner drive
• Must be able to work with people in a “team” atmosphere

Physical Qualifications

• Ability to work in club office; move about the club floors and rooms; review, revise, create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public
• Required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing, walking, and sitting
• Ability to communicate telephonically with employees, members, and the public
• Ability to access and operate company computer systems including prepare documents, enter data into a computer system, read reports from a computer database or email system
