Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
• National Certification required (CFSC, NSCA, NASM or ACSM).
• One year of personal training and program design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design safe and effective programs based on client needs.
• Educate clients to motivate commitment to their fitness plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure a safe environment.

Skills

Excellent verbal communication and listening skills

CPR/AED and First Aid Certification

Experience working with special populations

Understanding of injury prevention/management

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field

National Certification (CFSC, NSCA, NASM or ACSM)
