Job summary

Anytime Fitness seeks a driven Personal Trainer to deliver group and individual workouts at our franchised studios. You’ll design and teach sessions, motivate clients, support retention, and help members reach goals while ensuring safe exercise techniques.

Expect base pay $19.00–$22.00 per hour plus commissions; opportunities to advance; must obtain AF-approved certification within 90 days; roles may require working at neighboring branches.

Qualifications

• Has strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics.
• Must acquire a fitness certification/personal trainer certification within 90 days of hire from AF-approved company (ACSM/ACE/NASM/NSCA).
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels.
• Manage time and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 4+ members.
• Program and implement individualized workouts for members.
• Energize and motivate members throughout the sessions.
• Build fitness attendance and retain current members.
• Ensure the safety of participants regarding heart rate and exercise technique.
• Attend weekly/monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations.
• Handle member concerns when applicable.
• Sales and Marketing for Programming.
• Proactive outreach to inactive members.
• Assist in retention efforts.
• Provide exceptional member service.

Compensation & Growth Opportunities

We offer a base hourly rate plus additional training commissions based on your client roster, session delivery and package sales. This means the more clients you support, the more you earn — rewarding both your impact and your hustle. While the range below reflects realistic early earnings, many of our coaches go on to earn more as they build strong client relationships and deliver results over time.

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

This role may involve working at any of our neighboring branches, with specific details to be discussed during the interview.
