Job summary

Anytime Fitness - 682756 in North Port, FL is seeking qualified personal trainers to deliver safe, effective workouts and holistic support to our members.

As an AF Personal Trainer you will conduct 1:1 and group sessions, design personalized programs, motivate clients, and help build attendance while delivering exceptional member service. The role may involve coaching across branches, with opportunities for advancement and earning commissions based on client rosters and package sales.

Qualifications

• Must obtain a fitness certification within 90 days of hire from an AF-approved provider (ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels.
• Manage time and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 4+ members.
• Program and implement individualized workouts for members.
• Energize and motivate members throughout the sessions.
• Build fitness attendance and retain current members.
• Ensure the safety of participants regarding heart rate and exercise technique.
• Provide options and challenges for various skill levels.
• Attend weekly/monthly fitness staff meetings and educational presentations.
• Handle member concerns when applicable.
• Sales and marketing for programming; proactive outreach to inactive members.

Compensation & Growth Opportunities.

We offer a base hourly rate plus additional training commissions based on your client roster, session delivery and package sales. This means the more clients you support, the more you earn - rewarding both your impact and your hustle. While the range below reflects realistic early earnings, many of our coaches go on to earn more as they build strong client relationships and deliver results over time.

This role may involve working at any of our neighboring branches, with specific details to be discussed during the interview.

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
