Job summary

Gold’s Gym Tennessee is hiring fitness professionals to lead personal training sessions and motivate clients. You will review goals, progress, and the day’s workout, guiding safe technique and nutrition guidance. You’ll log sessions and tailor programs for each client, maintaining up-to-date files for upcoming appointments.

Qualifications

• Must hold current personal training cert within 60 days (NASM/ISSA/ACSM or equivalent).
• CPR/AED and First Aid cert must be obtained within 30 days.
• No degree required; strong customer service and motivation to connect with clients.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients at the front and review goals, progress, and today's workout.
• Assist with training, adjust technique for safety and effectiveness.
• Educate clients on nutrition and fitness to reach goals.
• Log completed sessions in the client database and tailor programming.
• Maintain accurate client files for upcoming appointments.

Compensation:

• Hourly training session rate plus commission on renewing client agreements
• Two paychecks per month OR access your earnings daily with DailyPay

Day In The Life

• Training session starts with greeting the client at the front and reviewing goals, progress, and today's workout
• Assist client with ongoing training, making adjustments to technique to ensure safe and effective exercise
• Motivate and educate clients on how to achieve goals through proper nutrition and fitness
• Log completed training session in the client database and prepare for next training session(s), customizing the programming to the client's needs
• Maintain current client files for preparedness in the next appointments

Requirements

• Current Personal Training certification obtained within 60 days (NASM, ISSA, ACSM, or other approved program)
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification obtained within 30 days
• No degree needed. We’ve got your education covered with our training.
