Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC, owner of Crunch Fitness franchises, is seeking a part-time Personal Trainer/Brand Ambassador in Van Nuys to deliver high-quality training and member experience.

You will design comprehensive fitness programs, educate clients on nutrition, and promote the Crunch Fitness tools and services to drive client retention and acquisition. Training sessions are scheduled through company systems, with a focus on safe technique and measurable progress.

Qualifications

• Certifications listed in ad: ACSM, ACE, The Cooper Institute, IFPA, Personal Fitness Trainer Certification, NASM, NESTA, NFPT, NSCA, CSCS.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Eligible to work in the United States and provide proof of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding initial personal training experience for introductory package clients.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals, including exercise selection and nutrition guidance.
• Inform clients about fitness tools available to assist them in reaching goals.
• Set expectations, track progress, and hold clients accountable for their programs.
• Demonstrate safe and proper exercise technique to clients.
• Instruct members on proper use of club equipment and exercise techniques.
• Assist in member services activities (seminars, boot camps, demos).
• Understand Smart Start Kick Off benefits and deliver a positive experience to members/guests.
• Maintain a neat, organized club and assist with racking weights.
• Design fitness programs using company tools and schedule sessions using ABC/Datatrak.

Job description

As a brand ambassador, a Personal Trainer represents Crunch Franchise to members and clients by delivering a positive fitness experience and quality personal training sessions leading to member retention and client acquisition and retention. Personal Trainers make reaching fitness goals achievable by assisting members and clients with education and guidance on comprehensive fitness programs including resistance and cardio-respiratory training, general nutritional guidelines, and nutritional product recommendations.

SERVICE AND TRAIN CLIENTS

• Create an outstanding initial personal training experience for introductory package clients.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients’ goals that include appropriate exercise selection, nutritional programming and teaching a fitness lifestyle.
• Inform clients of the fitness tools available to assist them in achieving their goals.
• Set expectations and hold clients accountable to their comprehensive fitness programs through goal setting, follow up discussions, and tracking progress.
• Demonstrate safe and proper exercise technique to clients.

SALES AND SERVICE OF MEMBERS

• Instruct members on proper use of club equipment and exercise techniques.
• Assist, at the club management’s request, in any member service activities (e.g., fitness seminars, boot camps, body fat tables, supplement/nutritional product demos etc.).
• Understand all aspects and benefits of the Smart Start Kick Off and deliver a positive fitness experience to members and guests.
• Help with racking weights and assisting in maintaining a neat, organized and clean club.

ADMINISTRATION/MISC.

• Design comprehensive fitness programs using company-provided tools
• Schedule all personal training sessions, other appointments, and administration time using company systems (ABC/Datatrak).
• Trainer Business Plan execution.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

• Personal Fitness Trainer Certification
• National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT)
• National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
• Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS)

• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have the basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively.
• To be eligible for employment at Fitness Ventures LLC applicants must be at least 18 years of age. This policy ensures compliance with applicable laws and helps maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States pursuant to both state and federal requirements and maintain their eligibility to work in the United States throughout their employment. Salary: $33,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
