This position operates in a fitness, wellness, and community-based environment and regularly interacts with members, participants, team members, leaders, and other stakeholders. The role requires frequent walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, and other physical movement associated with demonstrating exercises and supporting participants. The position may require prolonged periods of standing or sitting and continuous attention to detail while managing multiple tasks. The employee must be able to lift, pull, and move up to 50-100 pounds depending on client requirements and/or needs. Must be physically able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications. Flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, may be required based on program and organizational needs.

Wage Range: Floor Rate $12.77 - $14.00 hourly
Wage Range: Sessions Rate $18.00 - $20.00 hourly
The wage range provided reflects the YMCA of South Hampton Roads’ good-faith determination of the minimum and maximum starting salary for this position.
