Job summary

The Bellefonte YMCA | YMCA of Centre County is seeking part-time Personal Trainers to fill a variety of shifts throughout the week.

Personal Trainers use their fitness knowledge to guide members with equipment while providing personalized attention, support, and motivation in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities include instructing on equipment, correcting unsafe techniques, conducting sessions, maintaining facilities, and building relationships with members.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Trainer Certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate individuals with diverse fitness levels.

The Bellefonte YMCA has immediate openings forpart-time Personal Trainersto fill a variety of shifts throughout the week.

Personal Trainers use their fitness and training knowledge to guide and assist members with fitness equipment while providing personalized attention, support, and motivation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals and creating a welcoming environment for members.

Responsibilities

• Instruct members on the safe and proper use of fitness equipment.
• Identify unsafe techniques, provide corrections, and recommend alternative exercises when appropriate.
• Conduct personal training sessions as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the fitness facility and equipment.
• Report incidents, concerns, or facility issues to the Wellness Director.
• Greet members enthusiastically and maintain a positive, welcoming attitude.
• Build positive relationships with members and provide excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Trainer Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
