Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living of Farmington in Maine is seeking a Personal Support Specialist to assist residents with daily living activities and related tasks. You will respond to call lights, participate in activities, and document care provided, ensuring residents receive compassionate, consistent support.

We offer weekend per diem shifts, tuition assistance, health/dental/vision coverage, and a supportive team dedicated to high-quality elder care. 18+ with certification progress supported.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire.
• Proof of immunization for MMR and Varicella.
• Strong command of the English language and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (telephone use, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service).
• Respond to resident call lights promptly.
• Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned.
• Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.
