Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is hiring Personal Support Specialists for in-home care in Brewer, ME and surrounding areas. You will work one-on-one with adults and seniors in clients’ homes, following individualized care plans to support daily living.

Earn $17.00–$20.00 per hour, with shifts from 2 to 40 hours per week and a path for advancement. Mileage reimbursement is provided when applicable, with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options available.

Qualifications

• Experience as caregiver, home health aide, direct support professional or related hands-on personal care roles.
• Maine PSS certification or willingness to complete training within 60 days of hire.
• CNAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home personal care following each client’s plan of care.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support mobility and safe movement, assist with meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Provide companionship and steady daily support to enable safe home life.

Personal Support Specialist (PSS)

MaineTouch is hiring Personal Support Specialists in Penobscot County for in-home care positions serving adults and seniors in and around Brewer, ME 04412. If you have experience as a caregiver, home health aide, direct support professional, or in any hands-on personal care role - or if you're simply someone who shows up, does the job right, and wants flexibility - we'd like to talk.

Pay is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour based on your experience, certifications, and availability, with increases available based on performance and reliability. Shifts range from 2 to 40 hours per week with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options. You tell us your availability - we work to match you with clients in your area. Mileage reimbursement is provided when applicable.

In this role, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following each person's individualized plan of care. You'll assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, support mobility and safe movement, help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands, and offer the kind of companionship and steady daily support that keeps people living safely at home.

Requirements:
