Job summary

Caring for Others is hiring caregivers in Astoria, OR to provide companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and errands in clients' homes. You’ll deliver personal care, mobility support, and dementia assistance, with nurse-delegated tasks as needed.

We offer paid training, certifications, and CEUs, plus benefits and career coaching. Multiple shifts available across the Northern Oregon Coast service area.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a valid license and insured transportation.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Visit and support multiple Clients as needed.
• Experience in Caregiving, CNA, DSP, DSW or senior care is a plus.
• Ability to work Day, Evening, NOC/Overnight and Weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs.
• Support Clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

Requirements

You're a great fit if you:

We are hiring for multiple caregiver opportunities, including Day, Evening, Night (NOC), and Overnight shifts, as well as Weekend, Bilingual, CNA, and Lead Caregiver roles. Caregivers are based out of Astoria, OR and may be scheduled throughout the Northern Oregon Coast service area, which includes Astoria, Warrenton, Seaside, Knappa, Nehalem, Hammond, Cannon Beach, Gearhart, Clatskanie, Manzanita, Rockaway Beach, Svensen, Brownsmead, Oceanside, Wheeler, Garibaldi, and Bay City. Service areas vary based on client needs, and candidates should be comfortable traveling to client homes within this region.
