Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman is seeking a Selling Assistant to support the Personal Shopper/Sales Associate. You will assist in preparing selling appointments, ring transactions, and post-appointment follow up, while maintaining organized client data and a professional environment.

Responsibilities include organizing appointments, assisting with digital selling, and supporting gifting initiatives for Top Clients, with an emphasis on accurate client records and post-sale activities.

Qualifications

• Styling, fashion and/or fashion retail experience is required.
• Experience with Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets)
• High School Diploma / equivalency required.
• Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Description:

YOU WILL BE:

The Selling Assistant provides essential support to the Personal Shopper/Sales Associate, ensuring smooth operations for sales appointments and maintaining an organized, professional client environment. This role is crucial for executing all post-sales activities and managing client data.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Assist the Personal Stylist in preparing and executing selling appointments
• Ring transactions at POS
• Completing post appointment follow up, including order tracking, alterations, thank you notes
• Help organize appointment scheduling
• Enter and maintain precise clientele information
• Assist with Digital selling and Social media presence
• Assist in organizing gifting initiatives and experiences for Top Clients
• Ensure all unsold merchandise is returned to stock
• Ensure cleanliness of fitting rooms using housekeeping and maintenance services when necessary
• Any additional duties and responsibilities including projects, tasks, and activities as required

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
