Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders quickly and accurately, creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish.

You will greet customers, handle payments, and collaborate with store leadership to resolve issues while supporting a fast-paced curbside operation. Training is provided and prior retail or cashier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Turn online orders into easy, reliable, right-on-time pickups.

What You'll Do
