Job summary

Participants will engage in educational workshops, observe licensed professionals in client meetings, and contribute to teamwork across departments, gaining insight into client relationships and agency operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled in higher education and entering junior or senior year.
• Preferred: pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin/Management/Economics/Finance/Insurance & Risk Management.
• Must be able to work onsite for duration of internship.

Responsibilities

• Learn how an independent insurance agency serves personal insurance clients and works with multiple carriers.
• Observe roles of Personal Lines Agents, Private Client Advisors and Personal Lines Coordinators.
• Understand personal insurance products (homeowners, auto, umbrella, RV, etc.).
• Learn the insurance policy lifecycle from quoting to renewal.
• Assist with data collection, organization, and agency workflows.
• Participate in department meetings and internship project work.
