Scott Vicknair Injury Lawyers in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Litigation Attorney who will own personal injury cases, develop strategy, advocate for clients, and collaborate with a strong team to pursue the best outcomes.

You’ll manage cases from filing through resolution—discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trial preparation—with clear, persuasive advocacy and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and Louisiana Bar admission.
• 3+ years of personal injury litigation preferred.
• Strong research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of personal injury litigation files from suit through resolution.
• Develop and execute case strategy with firm leadership and staff.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive arguments.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for trial with witness prep and exhibit organization.
