The Role

We are seeking a full-time Personal Injury Litigation Attorney with at least three years of personal injury litigation experience to take ownership of cases from intake through resolution, including trial when necessary.

You will independently manage your caseload, develop case strategies, and lead litigation while working closely with paralegals and other team members. This role is suited to an attorney who brings practical litigation experience, sound judgment, and a commitment to remaining accessible and responsive to clients.

This position is based in Cumming and follows a hybrid schedule after an initial orientation period.

What You’ll Do

• Independently manage personal injury matters through investigation, negotiation, litigation, and trial.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and insurance coverage to develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery, and oversee discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Handle settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, court appearances, and jury trials.
• Keep clients informed and help them understand their options and make decisions.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff, delegating clearly and providing appropriate supervision.
• Maintain organized files, meet deadlines, and prepare cases thoroughly.

What You’ll Bring

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
• At least three years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience independently handling discovery, depositions, negotiations, mediations, and court appearances.
• The ability to evaluate cases, develop strategy, and manage a caseload with appropriate independence.
• Strong writing, advocacy, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sound judgment and a commitment to thorough preparation.
• Comfort working in a paperless practice and learning new legal technology.
• Respect for the contributions of paralegals and support staff.
• An interest in serving clients and supporting the community.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: 100,000–125,000, depending on experience.
• Production bonuses: 45% of attorney fees earned by the firm on cases you originate; 15% of attorney fees earned by the firm on firm-originated cases assigned to you.
• Retirement: Employer-sponsored 401(k) with company matching after one year of service.
• Insurance: 100% firm-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
• Health and fitness: $25 monthly allowance.
• Hybrid schedule: Three days in the office and two days remote after an initial 30-day orientation period of four days in the office and Fridays remote.
• Professional development: The firm pays for all CLE hours required by the State Bar of Georgia, as well as your Georgia Bar dues.
