Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced plaintiff-side personal injury attorney in Pennsylvania to manage a caseload from investigation through settlement or litigation.

The role focuses on developing case strategy, evaluating liability and damages, and maintaining strong client communication with opposing counsel and insurance carriers. PA Bar admission is required, with growth opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal injury experience preferred.
• Pennsylvania Bar admission required.
• Strong negotiation, writing, client communication and case-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from initial investigation through settlement and/or litigation.
• Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, insurance coverage, and potential case value.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress and strategy.
• Negotiate claims and settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, demands, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and coordinate with medical providers, experts, investigators, and other professionals.
• Attend hearings, conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and other court proceedings.
• Prepare cases for litigation and trial as appropriate.
• Maintain case deadlines and ensure matters progress efficiently.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys throughout the lifecycle of each case.

• 3+ years of personal injury experience preferred
• Strong plaintiff-side PI experience is ideal, but attorneys with transferable litigation or insurance defense experience may be considered
• Pennsylvania Bar admission required
• Strong negotiation, writing, client communication, and case-management skills
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload while maintaining a high level of client service
