Job summary

Valley Fitness CA is seeking a dedicated personal trainer to help clients achieve their fitness goals at our Atascadero studio.

You will assess fitness levels, design personalized training programs, and ensure safe equipment use while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires strong communication and reliable time management, plus an active PT certification and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

Customer service experience with a guest-focused mentality.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Must possess a current certification as a fitness instructor or personal trainer.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED).

Responsibilities

Monitor clients' progress and adjust their fitness plans accordingly.
Hold yourself and your clients to the highest standards of conduct and safety.
Verify that all fitness regimens are suitable for each client by conducting personal fitness evaluations.
Teach clients proper technique for all exercises, especially those requiring more complex equipment, to reduce injury risk.
Create personalized workout routines to help clients accomplish their fitness objectives while remaining within their present physical capability.
