Job summary

Southcoast Health in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Personal Computer Technician to support end users, diagnose hardware and software issues, and maintain workstations across hospital systems.

The role requires an Associate Degree in CS, 3 years of experience, familiarity with DNS/AD, MS networking, imaging, and mobility; A+ and HP Self Maintainer certifications preferred/required within 6 months; on‑site with day shift and occasional on‑call.

Qualifications

• An Associates Degree in Computer Science or a related field or combination of equivalent education and experience is required.
• Three (3) years of related work experience is required.
• A working knowledge of Network technologies; DNS, AD and MS Networking technologies, wireless, Smart phones, MS desktop applications and standard imaging process is required.
• A+ certification is preferred.
• A candidate without a current A+ certification must obtain within 6 months of hire into position.
• HP Self Maintainer is required within 6 months of hire into the position.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

We are searching for a talented Personal Computer Technician

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift with On Call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday) approx. 1 a month; 8:00am - 4:30PM

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA
