Job summary

Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking a caregiver/CNA to support local clients with companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep and medication reminders. Candidates should have 2+ years of caregiving experience and reliable transportation.

Shifts cover weekdays and weekends, morning and daytime slots. Starting pay ranges from $18/hour to $22/hour with weekly pay, immediate start, overtime pay time and a half for hours over 40 or on holidays, and opportunities for growth within a

Qualifications

• 2+ years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfortable helping both male and female clients.
• Experience with personal care tasks.
• No restrictions on type of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship—conversation, activities, and social interaction.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Support clients respectfully and maintain safety at all times.
