Job summary

SkyCare Services LLC is seeking a reliable in-home caregiver to provide personal and companion care for a client in York, SC. The role is a permanent position with opportunities for on-call coverage; shifts and schedule can be split among caregivers.

Start date is immediate, with paid hourly wages between $16.00 and $18.00. Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, safe transfers bed-to-wheelchair, companionship, errands, and keeping the home safe.

Qualifications

• Reliable, dependable and punctual for every shift.
• Patient, respectful, and caring demeanor.
• Experience with wheelchair transfers and mobility assistance preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Help the client get dressed each morning
• Transfer the client safely from bed to wheelchair at the start of the shift
• Transfer the client safely back into bed at the end of the shift
• Provide companionship and conversation throughout the visit
• Run errands and take the client to the store (the client has their own vehicle)
• Help with daily needs and keep the home safe

In-Home Caregiver, 7 Days a Week, Shifts Can Be Split (York, SC) | Start Immediately

About the Position

SkyCare Services LLC is hiring a reliable, dependable caregiver to provide personal care and companion care to a client in York, SC. Services start right away. We’re filling a permanent caregiver position and also want to add on-call caregivers for backup coverage.

Pay

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (5 hours per day)
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (3 hours per day)
• Total: 31 hours per week
• We can split the schedule between caregivers. For example, one caregiver can take weekdays and another can take weekends. Tell us which days you’re available.

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, dependable, and on time for every shift
• Patient, respectful, and caring
• Experience with wheelchair transfers and mobility help is strongly preferred
• Physically able to help with safe transfers between the bed and wheelchair
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for running errands

On-Call Caregivers Welcome

If you can’t commit to a set schedule but can cover shifts when needed, we still want to hear from you. On-call caregivers help make sure our clients are never left without care.
