Job description

Homewatch Caregivers® is a non-medical, in-home care agency. We provide unique care to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in the comfort and safety of their preferred residence.

We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and energetic individual to provide support to one of our intellectually disabled clients located in the Bensalem area.

Position Details

Daytime hours: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Evening hours: 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities / Duties

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare the client for her day program and drive her to the program located in Langhorne.
• Pick the client up from the day program and bring her home, ensuring she eats and showers.
• Maintain a calm and patient approach with a client who may be stubborn at times.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Preferred experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Must be able to drive and possess a current Tuberculosis (PPD) test.
