Job summary

Right at Home Morgantown is seeking a Personal Caregiver to support seniors and adults in their homes. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care per an established plan of care. We offer flexible scheduling, both part-time and full-time options, and bi-weekly pay.

A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are preferred. Join a supportive team focused on compassionate, in-home care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds.
• Must pass a background, fingerprint, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in accordance with an established plan of care, including assisting with transferring/moving clients.
• Perform housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions and dietary needs.
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Provide Personal Care (bathing, dressing, shaving, etc.).
• Give medication reminders and assist with ROM exercises.
• Provide dementia care and engage in companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles).
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or intake.
• Check vital signs as needed; assist with ostomy care, dressing changes, and measuring intake/output.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate Preferred

• Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance


• Current and valid CPR and First Aid
