Job summary

Human Touch Home Care in Colorado is hiring a Personal Care Worker to assist clients at home with daily living activities and basic homemaking tasks, ensuring comfort and safety in their own homes.

You will provide unskilled personal care, accompany clients to appointments, perform light housekeeping, meals, and transportation as needed, while documenting services and following company guidelines. This role offers full- or part-time hours with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and other documents.
• Requires personal transportation, valid driver’s license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
• Some experience with elderly and frail; training provided.
• Able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking to patients.
• Attends to personal care needs per company guidelines.
• Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinics.
• Assist with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as directed.
• Make bed, change and launder linens.
• Wash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shop.
• Clean kitchen, bathroom, and consumer living areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, mop floors.
• Inform staffing director of requests which cannot be met or unsafe conditions.
• Be dependable and document services on time sheets.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to the company's patients.
• Attends to any unskilled personal care services that the consumer requires using the Rules and Regulations document provided by the Company.
• Accompany or drive patients to physician/clinics
• Provide assistance or stand by assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as directed
• Make bed, change and launder linens
• Wash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shop
• Clean stove, kitchen, bathroom, and only the consumers living area and bedroom
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, run errands as needed, mop floors (make sure floor is dry before leaving)
• Advises staffing director of requests which cannot be met or of conditions which are unsafe
• Is dependable to consumers and Company in both providing and documenting services on time sheets
• Additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

• Requires personal transportation, valid state issued driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
• Some experience working with elderly and frail but will train.
• Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $19.29 per hour

Experience: Home Care 1 year (Preferred)
