Job summary

Team Select Home Care of Colorado, LLC is seeking a Personal Care Provider (PCP) in Denver, CO. In this role, you will perform personal care services for clients in their residences, adhering to Agency policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should have a sympathetic attitude towards care for the sick and elderly and be physically capable of handling job demands. Compensation includes a pay range of $17.00 - $20.00 per hour along with various benefits including insurance and 401(k).

Overview

A Personal Care Provider (PCP) is specifically trained, competent and performs assigned functions of personal care to the client in their residence under the direction, instruction and supervision of qualified Agency personnel. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and IHSS Clinical Program Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to established Agency policies and procedures.
• Understand and promote client rights.
• Perform personal care services in accordance with the plan of care and Agency policy (skin care, ambulation, bathing, dressing, feeding, hair care, mouth care, nail care, positioning, shaving, toileting, transfers, medication reminders, protective oversight, etc.).
• Perform household services essential to care in the home as assigned.
• Complete appropriate service notes completely, accurately and in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
• Report changes in the client’s condition and needs to the supervisor.
• Participate in all required orientation, training, competency and in-service programs as scheduled and necessary per Agency policy.
• Be available for and participate in supervisory visits per Agency direction.
• Participate in coordination of client care, as required.

• Ability to carry out written and verbal directions read and write.
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Must be able to lift, pull, push and carry heavy weight; must be able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach.

Education / Experience / Licenses / Certifications

Must be at least 16 years of age.
