Job summary

Opportunity Enterprises is seeking a Personal Care Direct Support Professional to assist adults in the day program with personal care needs and required documentation. The role includes documenting data, performing light housekeeping, inventory tracking, and supporting lunch periods in day programming.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and participation in instructional activities, with opportunities for training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide for the personal care needs of adults enrolled in services.
• Documentation of all personal care data.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Track personal care inventory and notify director.
• Provide coverage and assistance for participants during lunch periods in day programming.
• Assist in the implementation of instructional, industrial, and training activities in all relevant service areas (including Behavior Support Plans).
• Demonstrate teamwork with staff and participants in the agency (including other departments).
• Maintain acceptable work standards in all areas including attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure compliance with all agency policy and procedures.
• Assist in the intervention of crisis situations and complete the necessary documentation.
• Assist in line coverage if needed
• All other duties as assigned by the director
