Job summary

DON Services is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to support individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities at home in Mather, PA. Part-time positions offer flexible shifts, with a focus on promoting independence and quality of life for clients.

Caregivers will assist with daily activities, meal prep, medications, and scheduling, while also providing communication support and social engagement. Training is provided; a driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Driver's license is preferred and helpful for transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and undressing.
• Prepare and serve meals, assist with meal cleanup.
• Perform light laundry and housekeeping tasks in the home.
• Manage medications and schedule appointments as needed.
• Provide reading/writing support and transportation coordination.
• Support social and leisure activities to promote independence.
