Job summary

myPlace Health in Compton, CA is hiring for a Personal Care Attendant role. The caregiver will support older adults with daily activities, accompany them to appointments, and monitor health and well-being as part of the interdisciplinary care team.

CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required within 60 days. A valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed to reach participants and home visits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with frail or elderly individuals.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of starting.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Help participants with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, meals.
• Accompany participants to appointments and on transportation, both in-center and home visits.
• Monitor participant well-being and vital signs as directed by the care team.
• Provide compassionate companionship and support to families and caregivers.
• Maintain supplies and assist with basic health measures as needed.
