Job summary

Don-Services-1 is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to support individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities to stay independent in their homes. Morning, afternoon and evening shifts are available, offering flexible part time schedules to fit your needs.

Duties include personal care tasks such as feeding, skin and mouth care, assistance with bathing, dressing and transfers, plus light housekeeping, shopping and errands at the consumer's home.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care tasks including feeding, grooming, bathing and transfers.
• Assist with skincare, toileting and medication reminders as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, errands and shopping in clients' homes.

Helping individuals with Physical, Intellectual Disabilities stay independent in their homes.

Rewarding Career with flexible hours, all shifts, some tasks may be as follow:

Personal Care (PC): feeding, skin and mouth care, ambulation, bathing (assistance), hair care, grooming, shaving, dressing, transfer activities, toileting/incontinence care, assistance with medications (opening bottles, verbal reminders)

Home Support (HS) and Ancillary Services (AS): food shopping/errands for consumer (attendant only), meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping (to ensure safe/sanitary environment), garbage removal

Job Type:Part-time

Pay:$14 - per hour

Expected hours:10 – 30 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent preferred, but not required

Experience: No experience necessary, we will train you!

License/Certification:

• Driver's License preferred.

Shift availability:

Morning/Afternoon/Evening

Work Location: In the consumer's home.
