Preferred candidates have experience with elderly care, possess a high school diploma or GED, and are physically able to assist clients. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are needed for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate required.
• Experience with elderly care preferred.
• Housekeeping or cooking skills a plus.
• Physical stamina necessary to assist the person in your care.
• Complete criminal background check and drug screen required.
• CNA or HHA certification is a plus.

Job Summary

We are looking for an empathetic and reliable Caregiver to provide support and companionship to seniors in their daily lives. In this role, you will help them with personal hygiene tasks, perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, and remind them to take their prescribed medications. However, your main goal is to keep them company, engage them in conversation, and safely transport them to and from social activities. This is essential to the mental and emotional well‑being of the person in your charge and can offer a reprieve to their family members or primary caregivers. This job can be challenging, so applicants with experience caring for older adults or people with developmental disabilities are preferred. Pet Friendly!
