We are seeking dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide direct, one-on-one support to students in a school setting throughout the Harrisburg, PA area. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working closely with children and want to make a daily impact by supporting student independence, safety, and success.

This position is also a great fit for candidates with backgrounds as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), paraprofessional, teachers aide, or caregiver.

What Youll Do in This Role

• Provide 1:1 personal care support for students with physical or developmental needs
• Assist with daily living activities such as mobility, hygiene, feeding, and transitions between classes
• Support students in the classroom to ensure engagement and participation
• Follow individualized care plans and student support strategies
• Work alongside teachers, nurses, and support staff to maintain a safe environment
• Monitor student well-being and communicate updates as needed

What Youll Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in caregiving, personal care, or working with children preferredComfortable assisting with physical and personal care tasks
• Strong reliability, patience, and attention to detail
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
• Must pass required clearances, background checks, and screenings
