BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Williston, VT to provide in-home support and companionship, following a nurse's plan to help clients stay independent and safe at home. This role offers meaningful, one-on-one care and the chance to make a real difference in clients' lives.

You will perform personal care tasks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, ROM exercises, and safe transfers, with weekly pay and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional home health or patient care experience.
• Excellent communication and empathy for clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services per written plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and companion care.

Pay Rate: $26.00/hr., plus mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay

Locations:

Newbury, Vershire, Bradford, etc

Availability:

• Part-Time
• Dayshifts

What you’ll do:

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
