Job summary

The Landings of Chestnut Grove is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, respectful environment. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and hydration while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include monitoring health changes, giving medication reminders, ensuring safety, and fostering social engagement with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.

Position Summary:

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for providing direct care and support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. This role requires empathy, attention to detail, and a commitment to promoting residents' dignity and independence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.


• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.


• Ability to assist residents with mobility and physical support as needed.


• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.


• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
