Job summary

Holston Senior Living in Wytheville, VA is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for full-time evening shifts 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. The role offers daily pay access and the chance to join a family-like team.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor changes, and help maintain a safe, clean living environment while supporting meals and social activities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PCA certificate or Nurse Aide (NA) certificate.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Previous experience in senior living or healthcare preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff.
