Genesis is seeking a full-time Personal Care Assistant to support residents in a senior living community. Shifts available include 2:30 PM–11:00 PM or 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, with a focus on compassionate assistance with daily living activities and medication reminders.

Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, dressing, and documenting changes in residents' conditions, while maintaining safety and respect for individual needs. Training in First Aid/CPR and medication courses is required.

Qualifications

• Current certificate in an accredited First Aid course and CPR is required.
• Participation in medication course is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

• Inform supervisor and other staff of changes in residents' conditions and needs and document observations thoroughly.
• Follow procedure for medication reminders to ensure correct day, time, and that they are being taken.

• Perform dining room duties and assist with dining needs of residents.

Start your nursing career journey as a Personal Care Assistant where you will provide assistance to residents with their basic activities of daily living to support an independent lifestyle within the Senior Living Community. Your priority will be to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes individuals' needs and rights.
