Job summary

Riverton Enhanced Senior Living is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for overnight coverage to support licensed care staff and ensure resident comfort and safety. The role emphasizes compassionate care, dignity, and daily living assistance in a supportive environment.

The PCA will help with beds, meals, and activities, provide companionship, and maintain clean, safe resident areas. A High School diploma and PA Direct Care Certification are required; benefits are offered and the team values

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Direct Care Certification PA required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in providing resident care and support.
• Make beds and maintain tidy resident rooms.
• Ensure call bells and bed controls are within reach for residents.
• Assist with serving drinks, snacks, and meals per facility guidelines.
• Provide companionship and social engagement for residents.
• Answer calls and assist nursing staff as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident care areas.
• Support residents with comfort-focused daily living activities.

Shift: 11PM-7AM

Responsibilities for Personal Care Assistant (PCA):

• Assist licensed and certified staff in providing quality resident care and support.
• Make beds and maintain tidy, organized resident rooms.
• Ensure call bells, bed controls, and essential items are within the resident's reach.
• Assist with serving drinks, snacks, and meals in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Provide companionship and socialization to support emotional well-being and engagement.
• Answer phones and assist nursing staff with communication needs as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident care areas as assigned.
• Support residents with comfort-focused tasks to enhance their daily living experience.

Qualifications for Personal Care Assistant (PCA):

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Direct Care Certification the state of PArequired.
