Job summary

Advantage PCA & Senior Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals to join our growing team in Minnesota. This part-time position offers three days per week, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with daytime hours and flexible schedules.

You will assist adults and seniors with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity, while following individualized service plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, mobility support, transfers, positioning, and meal assistance.
• Encourage social engagement, companionship, and emotional well-being.
• Assist with household tasks including meal prep, shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping.
• Support clients with behavior management, supervision, redirection, and goal-oriented activities.

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of three days per week, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Position Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will assist individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and personal choice.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, mobility support, transfers, positioning, and meal assistance
• Encouraging social engagement, companionship, and emotional well-being
• Assisting with household responsibilities including meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Supporting clients with behavior management, supervision, redirection, and goal-oriented activities when needed
• Monitoring client safety and providing appropriate support throughout daily routines
• Maintaining accurate communication regarding changes in a client's condition, needs, or behavior
• Protecting client privacy and adhering to company policies and procedures
• Creating a supportive, respectful, and person-centered environment that promotes independence and self-determination
