Job summary

UniversaCare is hiring a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home care to clients in Norwalk, CT and nearby towns. This field position requires traveling to clients’ homes to deliver compassionate home health and personal care services.

The role offers both part-time and full-time schedules with weekly pay and opportunities for tuition assistance after 2,500 hours. Prior caregiving is preferred; background check and health screening are required.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience is preferred
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients at home with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Prepare meals and do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Follow each client’s care plan and report changes to the office
