Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Maryville is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to provide in-home personal care and companion support in Maryville, TN. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping while maintaining a warm, respectful approach for clients.

This role offers flexible weekend scheduling, CPR/First Aid is a plus, and a supportive team environment. A background check and drug screening are required, with training and development available.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or CNA experience preferred.
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, trustworthy demeanor.
• Availability to work weekends consistently.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being.
• Transport clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Document and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
